ACTIVEPERL HEARTBLEED SECURITY UPDATE

AS YOU ARE PROBABLY AWARE, THE HEARTBLEED BUG IS A SERIOUS VULNERABILITY IN THE POPULAR OPENSSL CRYPTOGRAPHIC SOFTWARE LIBRARY DISCOVERED ON APRIL 7, 2014.

Our team took immediate action and determined that some versions of ActivePerl were affected by the bug. However, we have since been working overtime and have deployed an update to secure against this vulnerability.

If you currently use ActivePerl Enterprise Edition, please download the latest versions from the customer download site. If you use ActivePerl Business Edition versions 5.16 or 5.18, please download the latest versions here. If you use Business Edition version 5.14 or builds for HP-UX, Solaris or AIX, please download the latest version from your ActiveState account. If you use the free ActivePerl Community Edition, please download the latest version here.
